Excellent, especially the way you describe their parting. You've nailed the facade that Sawyer puts on - and you allow him to show that he honestly, finally, loves someone. That's something a lot of people condemn him for. Damned if he's a bad-ass and damned if he shows some emotion. I'm happy to see someone besides me is getting him.
I was a Skater from Day 4 - (there was a very brief time that I thought J/K was the way of it, but it didn't last!) - but I'll admit that I've been short on Kate love since she began stompin' on his heart with every other heartbeat.
